About Sedition
We are an active raiding guild. We have a strong social component for those who like to play in a friendly environment. We also have a strong group of dedicated raiders who want to conquer end-game content with a worthwhile group of team-mates. We believe both of these elements can be present in a guild that progresses through the challenges of the game.

Progress has been made

After many wipes and the uncalled for rage by a warrior tank that shall remain nameless *coughCIMMcough* we were able to take down the second boss in Heroic 25 ToGC Next up Faction Champions.

Guild Basics

GOALS

Our goals are to reach advanced game content, improve our characters, and enjoy the game.

This is primarily a Raiding Guild. Our active nights are Tuesday to Thursday, and Raiders are required to be available for raids.

We insist members treat each other with respect.

We expect members at this level to be able to function with reasonable support. Thottbot, Wowwiki, etc are excellent sources of information. Raiders should attend with a working theory of the fight, be prepared, and be on time.

We require members use Omen Threat Meter, Deadly Boss Mods, Vent, and Group Calendar. All those wishing to raid must use these raid tools.

When signing up for a raid, members are agreeing to be part of that night's team. Plans can change, but we want raiders who make a reasonable attempt to notify the officers so the raid can be successfully planned for everyone.

If you've read the guild over-view listed below, and think you'd like to be a part of Sedition, please feel free to fill out an application.

RANKS

CHEESEDOODLE: Newcomers will be ranked as Pledge. Pledges are the last to be considered for loot. This rank usually lasts about two weeks, until it appears likely that the candidate is fitting well into the guild, and seems intent on staying long-term.

MEMBER: This rank is for those who contribute to the social structure of the guild while they develop a suitable level of raid readiness.

RAIDER: This mid-rank is for those who are in the process of becoming well-geared to survive and contribute to raiding. Promotion to Core Raider will be given only to those who demonstrate reliability, skill, and a good attitude.

CORE RAIDER: The highest rank is for players who are there on an almost constant basis to support the raid team. They have earned a guaranteed raid position because they have shown, through availability, attitude, and skill, that they are solid and valued players.

LOOT DISTRIBUTION:

We use a Loot Council to gear the raid.

    1. All drops will be individually linked, and those interested will link their current piece in Raid Chat.

    2. The decision is made based on reliability, attitude, upgrade benefit, and how often each player receives loot.

    Other considerations:
    · Tanks and healers are given preference due to the critical nature of their positions.
    · Main sets are always given preference over off-sets.
. Main toons get preference over alts.
    · Off-sets are given preference over PVP gear.

Any team is only as strong as its weakest link. The intent of the officers is to evenly gear the raid for best-success of the entire team. The GMs and Officers of Sedition regularly pass on loot for the betterment of the raid group, and we greatly value players who are willing to do the same.
